After Rosie's class I will then follow this with a talk on how to stay healthy and balanced through the winter from an Ayurvedic perspective. I will be providing some recipes for teas you can make at home along with self care routines.

We will be serving you up a tasty Ayurvedic Vegetarian Lunch 😋 and I will round off the day with a healing meditation 🙏

Instagram post 2171923939500924349_7649490513 One of my staple Ayurvedic cupboard favourites - Triphala, an Ayurvedic food/herbal supplement. Can be used internally and externally for dozens of purposes. Boosts immunity, improves oral health, tones the digestive system and promotes healthy bowels to name a few of its long list of benefits.
To enhance the immunity and mucous clearing properties I sometimes take it in warm water with manuka honey. Generally in Ayurveda we use local honey but occasionally I like the added properties of manuka.

It can be an acquired taste 😜 and best to talk to a practitioner .

Instagram post 2169983331769111744_7649490513 Where would I be without my lunch flask @house.uk? I know cold, hungry, irritable, poor concentration and beginning to flag at about 3-4pm 😅

Luckily, instead my #mondayvibes were flying on the coat tails of the weekend, still licking my lips after the chicken broth soup made out of yesterday's leftovers with my first brussel sprouts of the season.
Ayurveda is marginally obsessed for good reason about Agni or digestive fire. Strong digestive functioning is vital for good health and vitality. This can be kindled by eating regular healthy tasty meals and remember keeping them warm this time of year is preferred 😋

Instagram post 2166972238704583128_7649490513 Happy dead souls day 😁 to celebrate I made a delicious pumpkin pie and am playing innovative games with the children whilst connecting with the true meaning of All Hallows' Eve.
Soul or Atman is an important aspect of Ayurveda. Today is a great day to remember and connect with all souls that have passed before us in a fun way which doesn't have to have the weight of grief that often clings to death. To my ancestors 🥂❤️ #halloween2019🎃 #ayurvedastyle #allhallowseve #homespun #pumpkinpie #pumpkinpiespice
Instagram post 2165563938037541750_7649490513 Autumnal shenanigans. Every day the colours are getting richer, the mushrooms larger, abundance everywhere ahead of the winter 😍

I have noticed my food intake is also naturally getting slightly richer and a bit more abundant, anyone else noticing this too?? Thick soups and stews, steaming bowls of porridge, creamy risottos 😋😋😋 #autumnfoods #mushroom🍄 #livingwiththeseasons #vata #Ayurveda #autumnnature #getoutsideintonature
Instagram post 2162497778576488916_7649490513 Today is celebrated as Ayurveda Day and I am on my lunchbreak reflecting by this peaceful pond in the centre of Norwich on why I have always loved Ayurveda from the moment I began studying it 18 years ago.
For me Ayurveda is such a broad and truly holistic system, there are so many tools available to us to help people come up out of the mud and bloom again. I feel so blessed to have come to Ayurveda at a relatively young age and to still be in a constant state of learning 🙏😍🙏 Looking forward to celebrating with friends and colleagues tomorrow @ayurveda_apa
