20th January 2021 by

£10.00

During this fantastic LIVE 90 minute virtual workshop with Anne Heigham, Ayurvedic Practitioner you will learn about

  1. The basic building blocks of Ayurveda
  2. The 20 gunas or pairs of opposite qualities and how to incorporate knowledge of these to enhance your life
  3. The 3 Doshas and the difference between your Prakriti (constitution) and Vikruti (state of imbalance)
  4. The 3 different states of mind Sattva, Rajas and Tamas
  5. Lean how to bring Ayurveda to life in your own life

After Anne has helped you to understand these concepts she will then open up a Q&A session to discuss the topics covered. The idea of this workshop is to give a basic understanding of some of the core principles in Ayurveda that you may have heard about before. She will cover them in a way that is easy to understand, infused with current knowledge and relevant for you. With these building blocks in place she will then add to these in future workshops so you can systematically grow your knowledge of Ayurveda.

The workshop will be accompanied by some digital handouts.

If you cannot make this date, this workshop will then be available to purchase as a recorded workshop at a later date.

In order to access the workshop you will need to have downloaded Zoom. On purchasing the workshop you will be provided with access details.

The difference a week makes. Today it feels like The difference a week makes.

Today it feels like spring like and nature is feeling it too.....what a contrast to a week ago, seems like a dream now.

There seems little merit these days to think of classical seasons. Instead we have to stay connected to our external environment, stay in the flow and respond accordingly 💞🌍❄🌞
I 💚 a mung bean. They are lower in anti nutrien I 💚 a mung bean. They are lower in anti nutrients which are common in other types of legumes, making them comparatively easier to digest.

The yellow ones are the green ones without their jackets on and are even easier to digest than with their jackets on 🌟

I like to soak them for a few hours before cooking them and I tend to cook a large batch and incorporate them into different meals. Lunch today I combined them with bulgur wheat, parsley and some tasty seasoning. Tonight they are destined for a mung bean dhal 😋

Anytime you feel like your digestive capacity is low power🔋they are a great meal to have as they help bring you back online.

With their jackets on they are high in folate and other minerals. All in all Little powerhouses 💪
