What is Moksha?
Moksha can be translated from Sanskrit to mean freedom or liberation. It is a concept embedded within Ayurvedic and Yogic philosophy. This series of Moksha treatments is designed to bring more freedom to a person’s life in both a health and emotional sense.
Moksha, is a series of a minimum of 6 treatments given a month apart. The entire body apart from the arms is anointed with a special herbal oil in a very warm room. The touch is very gentle and the inner feeling of the client in response to the touch changes as the treatments progress.
Moksha is unlike any other treatment. Moksha works on different levels. It stimulates the metabolic/digestive and reproductive systems bringing increased energy to the body. Ultimately removing sluggishness and blocks that have been otherwise difficult to shift. This can have a big positive impact on your state of health. Simultaneously it helps to release any hang-ups or blockages that you may have, which are holding you back in life. Thereby, it is a very liberating series of treatments.
What is Moksha good for?
Anyone who wants to experience more inner freedom in their lives and who wishes to connect more readily with their true sense of ‘I’. Also, anyone who feels like they need a ‘kick start’ either physically or emotionally. Moksha helps you to identify and fulfil more readily your life’s purpose.
How does it work?
By working with the metabolic and hormonal system through the therapeutic touch a connection to the emotional system system is established. This then influences how you feel about life and how your metabolic system functions.
Is it suitable for everyone?
In order to receive the treatment, you must be over the age of 26 years old and require an initial consultation to establish suitability of the treatment. There are some other contraindications, please contact me to find out more.
Where can I receive this?
Currently there are only 4 practitioners trained in the UK, of which I am one of them. I give these Ayurveda treatments in Norfolk and Hertfordshire.
